Managing student IDs, behavior logs, hall passes, and visitor records typically involved disconnected systems, manual paperwork, and limited visibility slowing down daily school operations. The lack of centralized tools made it difficult for staff to coordinate efficiently. High5.ID had to support compatibility with popular systems like Aeries, OneRoster, and Blackbaud, enabling easy data migration and onboarding without disrupting existing operations.
Solution
To address High5.ID’s challenges, we focused on improving the platform’s stability, optimizing performance across devices, and enhancing the mobile experience for both staff and students. We resolved critical issues related to real-time student tracking, streamlined the flow of pass and improved overall navigation making the system more intuitive, reliable, and ready to scale. We also introduced the ability to create and manage multiple event types within the platform. Schools can now generate and send digital passes such as lunch, bus, and other passes directly to students and staff via email or text, simplifying daily coordination. To support institutions transitioning from legacy systems, we integrated with Aeries, OneRoster, and Blackbaud, enabling smooth data migration and real-time syncing helping schools onboard quickly without disrupting operations.
